Here are some pictures of the arrangement of my final pieces...
My Name is Roni Rea Dean, and I am a Fine art student at UCS, currently in the second year of my degree. Alongside my passion for art I also have a passion for boxing, Competing as a female amateur boxer, and coaching for Attleborough Boxing Club. Having two great passions has led me to combine the two, putting my boxing into my art. 'We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars.' -Oscar Wilde

Church Exhibition, Ipswich, May 2014. Work titled 'Identity'.
This exhibition was held at St Clements Church in Ipswich, and was to mark the end of our first year on the fine art degree at UCS. I displayed my final project which was titled 'Identity' which was about how I go boxing, and how boxing is another part of my life, another part of who i am, that people, especially at university were not familiar with. I displayed four prints, two skipping, one shadow boxing, and one punching. Alongside the prints i also displayed two videos, one on a TV monitor that was a black and white video of my feet when skipping, the other displayed on an iPad which showed another black and white video of me shadow boxing in a ring. More details about the work i created is to be followed on my blog with more detailed pictures of the individual prints. This was my first Exhibition, and overall i was very pleased with the outcome!
